Art that loves bikes

A night for everyone who rides

ARTCRANK events brought every kind of bike person into the same room: roadies and messengers, commuters and mountain bikers, framebuilders and advocates, families on cargo bikes, kids on their first ride.

That same spirit carries into this night — connecting the Greenway to Uptown and welcoming Melanin In Motion's riders into a celebration of bike culture that reflects the whole city. A night for people who ride, people who love art, and everyone who feels at home where the two come together.

The Archive finds a new home

More than 200 original, limited-edition bicycle-themed posters from past ARTCRANK shows are now installed throughout Venture Bikes Midtown — available to browse and buy. On August 7, a large-scale outdoor projection lights up the shop wall after dark to celebrate the collection's new home.

So, what's ARTCRANK?

Fourteen years of bikes meeting art

From 2007 to 2021, ARTCRANK brought artists and cyclists together through poster shows celebrating bike culture — introducing thousands of people to handmade, affordable, bike-inspired prints from independent artists, illustrators, and designers across many cities.

The posters now at Venture Bikes are selected works from that history — a one-of-a-kind collection of original bike art living inside a bike shop on the Midtown Greenway. The Archive stays year-round, giving riders, collectors, artists, and neighbors a place to browse and buy.

This isn't an ARTCRANK event — it's a Venture Bikes night celebrating the Archive's new home.
